Offered for sale is an original World War II Piper L-4A “Grasshopper” liaison aircraft airspeed indicator, removed from a WWII-era aircraft.
This instrument was used in the legendary Piper Cub military variant flown by the U.S. Army Air Forces for artillery spotting, reconnaissance, medical evacuation coordination, and frontline liaison duties across Europe and the Pacific.
